Commisions
Requests for custom painting are always welcome. Here are some sample ideas of commissioned artwork completed in the past:
- A personal home (this is most common) - and occasionally with messages or specific people inserted on the painting. These are often gifts for a new owner - or owner who has sold and would like a remembrance piece.
- Business building or office - often a gift for the owner
- Businesses such as bars, restaurants, and hotels looking for specific art style/content to fit their interior theme or look.
- Previous Collection - requests from people who are looking for a specific building or area from one of my previous collections (countries).
- Requests from previous customers looking for a compatible piece to accompany or fit into a color scheme.
The waiting period for commissioned pieces varies depending on the time of year, my location, and traveling schedule. Mostly I can produce your requested piece in as short as 2 weeks - then ranging up to 2 months.
Generally these pieces start at 180 Euros and range up to 500 euros. The type of wood is also a factor in my pricing - for example exotic hardwood from SE Asia has a price premium. I will always give you options and recommendations for sizing and wood type.
I ask for a 50% deposit before painting begins - and then the balance upon delivery.
Very often I can work from your sent photos - and once in a while I will need to request extra photo angles and perspectives. While here in Malta - I can also arrange to visit your home or business for a meeting - this is often a great way to personalize the project.
