Anything old and well used attracts my attention and this nice old house in downtown Porto was exactly that. It needed a little attention as the paint was peeling and some boards were loose - but it was still beautiful in it's own way.
The wood comes from Crete, Greece - and is very light weight and thin. You can see it spent some time in the water and sun as the softer layers of grain have worn away leaving a very nice texture. There is a natural hole in the perfect spot to hang it with on a wall - how convenient!
